Self-service lockers for museum visitors
Visitors may need to leave coats, bags or umbrellas before entering the galleries. Lockers near the entrance give them somewhere to store those belongings and help make the museum’s bag policy clear.
Designed and developed in the Netherlands. Operating across Europe since 2008.

Your venue
Storage before the galleries
Visitors store and collect their own belongings using the multilingual kiosk. We agree the position and compartment mix around the entrance layout, the bags visitors bring and the museum’s storage policy.

Revenue share
An operated locker service
Installation is planned around opening hours so the entrance keeps working.
Revenue-share sites receive multilingual support seven days a week.
Each statement records the rentals for the period and the museum’s agreed share.
Self-service lockers can replace or reduce the need for a staffed cloakroom, depending on the museum’s arrangements. Your front-of-house team has no locker keys to issue or cash to collect. At sites we operate, Eurolockers provides support for your museum team.
Match the setup to your bag policy
A bank can be configured for free use where storage is compulsory, with paid storage available elsewhere if appropriate. We agree the setup and commercial model in the proposal.
Questions
Questions museum teams ask
Can lockers support a compulsory bag policy?
Yes. Compulsory storage can be free to the visitor, while an optional bank elsewhere in the museum can remain paid.
What does it cost us?
For a revenue-share installation, Eurolockers supplies and maintains the lockers. Museums that prefer to own the equipment can purchase the system.
When could the lockers be installed?
The first conversation covers your entrance hall, bag policy and existing storage. We confirm the installation date after reviewing the site, equipment availability and any custom work.
